Conservation — The protection, preservation, management, or restoration of natural environments and the ecological communities that inhabit them.

At BC Nature, the conservation leadership role focuses on turning our conservation priorities, and those of our federated clubs, into policy, advocacy, research, and on-the-ground protection of British Columbia’s biodiversity.

BC Nature is currently seeking a volunteer chairperson for its Conservation Committee. The committee is comprised of informed and passionate members drawn from our clubs. The committee chair has the privilege of being a Board member, thus sharing with the board and being informed of the many activities of the organization.
