BC Nature Membership

Membership in BC Nature

There are two ways to become a member of BC Nature. Join a club that is part of the federation in your geographical location or if there is not a club convenient to you join BC Nature directly as a “Direct Member”.

Join a Local Nature Club

As a member of any of the 55+ clubs in the BC Nature Federation, you can enjoy birding, botany, geology, and marine biology outings; learn more about nature during field trips and attend conferences in communities throughout BC. Help restore a marsh, monitor bird life, caretake a natural area, provide nest boxes, remove invasive species or help run a nature house. Join a local nature club for these activities, plus monthly speakers and social activities. As a member of a local nature club you automatically have membership in BC Nature.

Join BC Nature

BC Nature has a “Direct” membership program for those that do not have access to club in their geographical area.

Joining as a BC Nature Direct member entitles you to attend conferences in communities throughout BC, attend field camps and conferences (AGM) , a subscription to BCnature quarterly magazine, monthly updates through our Nature’s Voice eNews, and coverage under our liability policy.
