Help the Interior Wildlife Rehabilitation Society Rebuild

On August 7th, the Bald Range Wildfire swept through the Interior Wildlife Rehabilitation Society’s Summerland property incredibly quickly, the staff present only had time to evacuate the wildlife in their care and themselves. Their entire rehabilitation facility was lost to the blaze. Thankfully, the staff and animals are safe, with their patients being transferred to a rehabilitation centre in Kamloops while the IWRS begins to rebuild.

The IWRS has provided critical care to injured and orphaned wildlife across the Interior since 2020. Now, the Society needs all the help that it can get to rebuild their facility and continue their mission. Donations to the Wildfire Recovery for the IWRS Facility Fund will help the Society recover from the fire so they can continue to help wildlife in the Interior.

Please consider donating to the IWRS, sharing their story, and following along with the IWRS team as they work hard to rebuild.
