WildResearch
Club interests: WildResearch’s mission is to build, train, and educate a community that contributes to conservation science.
As one of the BC Nature clubs, we work to educate a community that contributes to conservation science. Our members have initiated a number of programs, including the Iona Island Bird Observatory, BC Marsh Monitoring Program, Urban Raptor Monitoring Program, and Nightjar surveys (now part of Birds Canada). The data collected through our programs is used in research efforts, and informs conservation decisions, especially in the Iona Beach Regional Park area.
