Club interests:
- public natural history talks, birding (Christmas Bird Count, regional records, field trips for migration)
- botany and field ecology (local field trips), education (community displays, public talks and field trips, guided trips for local youth)
- community forest guided nature trail
- collaborating on conservation projects (bat and bluebird box programs, Willowvale marsh, Chicken Creek revegetation
- participation in local wildlife conservation committees (Telkwa caribou, Wildlife for Tomorrow)
- wildlife advocacy letters
Meetings: Third Thursday of Oct, Dec, Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr (usually); 6-8 times per year
Location: Coast Mountain College Atrium, Smithers, BC
Membership fee: $20 Individual, $25 Family
Number of members: Approximately 25 families; 25 singles
