Club interests: Botany; Birding; the annual Brant Wildlife Festival; Christmas Bird Count; Stewardship of the Englishman River Estuary including invasive species removal. New club interests are the fall Mushroom Festival and a Bird Nesting Box Program.
Excellent indoor programs nine months of the year; outings/field trips about every 10 days year-round and social events.
Meetings: 4th Monday of each month September through June, at 7:00 pm
Location: St. Anne and St. Edmund Church Hall, 407 Wembley Road, Parksville (behind Wembley Mall).
Membership fee: Single $25, Family $35, Juniors $12 (as of September 2012)
